The Gilbert Catalog is a collection of early American advertising art, originally published by New Haven’s A.C. Gilbert Company, with a focus on their American Flyer Trains.
I scanned paper original catalogs and built a database of pages, product images, and their metadata. I used Photoshop to remove scratches and blemishes, and restore the color of faded or stained portions. I developed the Catalog gallery software using Drupal 6, and later performed the migration to Drupal 7 for both the Catalog and the Eli Whitney Museum’s primary page.
