Transformers designs are sometimes re-used with alternate parts, in order to get additional vehicle types out of the same design. With this in mind, I designed new parts for the “Alpha Bravo” toy to change it from a helicopter to a turbo-prop airplane.
The vehicle mode is based on the Shrike Turbo Commander 680V. The model was originally an Aero Commander 500, sourced from a “Flight Simulator” modding community site. I prepared the mesh for 3d printing in Blender and arranged the print plates in TinkerCAD. The new head was designed in Autodesk Fusion 360. All parts printed in PETG or ABS plastic, acrylic paint.
